It's Not All Stars & Gift Cards: Getting Recognition Right
An Afternoon with Maika Leibbrandt

Chances are good, your organization could benefit from improving the nature of recognition. How do I know? Because it's that way for everyone. Learn the three legs of solid recognition in an organization, explore the importance of customizing your approach based on individual preferences, and experience  your own reflection on the real role that praise plays. Discuss a framework for supporting specific, lasting recognition that creates higher workplace wellbeing and offers sustainable experiences for future learning. People leaders have an opportunity to be an inspirational and uplifting source of support for their team members. This interactive workshop will provide you an opportunity to explore simple and straightforward strategies to do just that.

About the Speaker

If you're ready to focus your energy on what's right with yourself and others, you need to talk to Maika Leibbrandt. The coach of coaches, Maika spent 15 years working with Gallup, the global leader in strengths-based development and workplace engagement. Maika cut her teeth helping government officials celebrate their talents and learn from what was working, during a time when the world believed the opposite. In her tenure as a celebrated executive workplace consultant, she served teams around the globe, focusing on employee engagement, customer passion, and top talent development. Leaders at Twitter, L'Oreal, Zoom, and Atlanta Public Schools are just a few who call upon Maika for wisdom, strategy, and partnership.

If it's about the human experience, Maika is your gal. Once an expat, twice a mom, forever a coach, Maika lives for helping talented leaders develop their internal listening skills. Her coaching spans beyond the science of positive psychology to include family systems and frameworks, organizational health, wellbeing research, and Neuromindfulness.
